Next Stop

The mysterious twilight of a mind,
An area of diminishing shadows.
Images completely misunderstood,
Of darkness and light of the dream.

Spiraling on down the rabbit hole,
Into a corridor with closed doors.
Scenes shrouded in a gray mystery,
To a convoluted obscure destination.

Flash to a black and white diorama,
Chased by a figure of unknown origin.
A figure with a clear concealed intent,
To send someone straight over the edge.

Falling beside the gray outline of a cliff,
Imagine peaked jagged rock at its end.
Down, down falling faster and faster,
Ever closer now the bottom is in view.

Peaked jagged rocks with craggy sides,
Ripping and shredding all that falls to it.
Look ahead, there, only a mind could see,
Fall to an ambiguous mysterious twilight.
