Hate! Hate!
I hate when that happens! I hate that! I hate her! I hate doing this! I
hate him! I hate you!!

Nice word huh? Used by many worldwide. It’s said to describe a person,
place, or thing. It has become part of our everyday vocabulary.

The problem with the word hate. It isn’t even considered among the
'four-letter words list'. You know those bad, profane words we all use at
everyone & everything. Except this word hate is said as second nature. The
worst word in the world! Just look around, read a paper (excuse me, read a
webpage), listen to the radio or even watch or hear a television. Hear the word
said over and over and over again.

It is without a doubt, in my mind at least, a most foul disgusting word
used in any circumstance.

You may use hate just in an offhand way and not realize it. You know you
use it when you’re raging pissed. (You know you do.) I have done it, used it.
To vent or describe disgust and distain. Or just because I did not like or
enjoy something.

This word hate comes from a feeling within us, within you. How you feel
about a someone's skin color. How you feel about their social order or disorder.
Their place in life, the toys they have, their sex.

Whatever it is you hate. Stop!

We are way to intelligent and I mean everyone. To allow this gross
obscene lecherous four-letter word to creep into our vocabulary and set up shop.

Yes, it's easy and it conveys much. Plus, it will do the maximum amount
of psychological damage.

But does hate really make you feel better?
Does it?

This word has hurt me more than any other word. This word can and has
brought me to tears just because of its obnoxious casual use.

This poor excuse for a description was purged from my vocabulary system
twenty plus years ago.

Refuse this word as a reference for the remainder of your life. It will
make a complete difference in the outlook of life.

How about this. Go without saying the word for a full seven-day week.
There are a plethora of words that can be used in its place.

To put it simply.
Hate is the evilest of all words.

What about this word, love.
Love, wow! Now there's a word we can all live with.
Sheilah Say
Sheilahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07590991565314531358noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-565614793119884285.post-57920266945138989992023-12-12T00:47:00.000-08:002023-12-12T00:50:30.076-08:00Take a Step
It's as if the universe has been turned topsy-turvy. Mad scientist making sense, people, cats, dogs getting along and birds flying upside down.

That's the way It felt when she left the restaurant.

It started a week ago when Summer received an email from a follower that wanted to meet with her. After several emails and getting more information from her follower, a dinner date was made. The date, time, and place to meet was agreed upon. The dinner date was at a popular sports bar and restaurant at six o'clock. There were always a lot of people there, just in case the date started to get a little overly frisky. She had set up the date just to see how much the follower wanted to meet her. And the place was only a ten-minute drive from her home.

Summer already knew what she was going to wear. A black half cup lace see through balconette underwired shelf bra with a matching thong. A fitted black satin long sleeve button up blouse, a Fredrick's of Hollywood fitted black mini skirt, soft taupe stay up stockings and four-inch chunky, with one-inch platform, heels.

All dressed, she drove to the sports bar and restaurant.

Arriving early, at 5:45 pm, she sat at one of the tall tables facing a big screen television. After a couple of minutes the waitress came over and took her order for a Tom Collins soda with a lime squeeze.

"The waitress asked. Can I start a tab for you?"

"Yes please," came Summer's reply.

Now she waited for her dinner date to arrive. Sipping slowly at the soda and watching the hockey game on the big screen.

Just a few minutes went by and a good-looking guy came up to her and asked if he could buy her a drink.

"No thank you. I just started this one." She spoke.

Before she could finish the first drink. The waitress came over and put another Tom Collins with a lime squeeze on the table.

Looking up at the waitress Summer said to her. "I didn't order this."

"Compliments of the gentlemen at the bar." Replied the waitress.

Looking over to the bar a guy had his glass raised as in gesturing a toast to her.

Summer mimicked the gesture back at him with the drink in her hand.

Her dinner date was to meet at the sport bar and restaurant at six o'clock. Which, now came and went. But still she sat watching the hockey game and listening to the music. Patiently sipping the soda waiting.

Some time passes she again checks the time. Fifteen minutes after six. The waitress comes over asks if everything alright.

"Yes. I am just waiting for my dinner date." She replies.

"Can I get you something to snack on while you wait?" Asked the waitress.

"No thank you," said Summer.

Sipping at the soda occasionally and waiting ever patiently for her date. Checking the time; nineteen after six and again at twenty-four after six.

"Well might as well go to the bathroom." Summer said to herself.

When she was back at her table she checked the time one final time. It was thirty-eight minutes past six o'clock.

Motioning the waitress over she asked to pay the tab for the sodas.

Paying the tab, and a tip for the waitress, she took one last sip of soda.

Leaving the sports bar and restaurant she had a slightly above level of disappointment. Having been stood up she was more than slightly miffed.

Stepping out into the cool night air Summer stopped and looked around.

Saying out loud to herself. "This was a huge waste of time."

Summer started walking to the car and rounding the corner to where it was parked up the street. She did not see the raised crack in the sidewalk and the right heel of her chunky high heel shoe caught on it. Flinging the pad of the heel to who knows where. It was about seventy-five feet more or less to the car.

Each time the right heel hits the sidewalk there was a hollow 'clump' sound when it hit.

So, one heel went 'clip' when it hit the sidewalk. While the other heel went 'clump'.

"Great, what a wonderful way to top off an evening." She said to herself.

So, as she walked all the way to her car.

A Clip-Clump. While Far Left Progressives want to drag everyone kicking and screaming into their idea of the future. And both Left and Right Extremists Militant Groups use Hate to try and topple the other.
Let’s not leave out what is happening to the Christian faith in our country. Where is this Great Christian Religion with all the hate going on? They have forsaken their faith, the ideals of their good book and their Savior, Jesus Christ.
For what? To hate and discriminate against a people who are different from what Christians now want to believe. Where is love thy neighbor, turn the other check, and let he who is without sin cast the first stone? It went to twisting a book to suit a need to Judge others. I thought it was your God that was to do the judging not you the individual! Who died and left you to the judgement of others?
No wonder our Countries streets are in turmoil.
The three branches of Government all have separate agendas.
New laws are enacted to regulate and control people and the press.
Protections for the environment are either repealed. Or the repeal is stricken. Congress seems impotent to any bipartisanship. And one-party refuses to stand up for itself. When either party has control of Congress legislation passes along party line. Sure, there is some bipartisan legislation that passes. But what is more important than the economy, environment, unemployment, and the big one, the National Debt. (32 Trillion Dollars)
Our democracy is being undermined here at home, helped by foreign powers. Foreign powers that are allowed to by U.S. properties
Our Government saddles our university students with lifelong debt with interest!
It's no wonder students are rebelling and protesting. When, what is termed, an entitlement program gets reduced funding, restructure or closed down the money gets reproportioned to the military and the military-industrial complex, not to those in the military who need it. So, more overpriced equipment and other military hardware can be made. Does our military machine need more money than the next 11 industrial countries?
Our poor get more destitute. The backbone of our economy, and our country, the middle class will soon become upper poorer.
While major contributors and ultra-rich receive tax breaks. Of course, all the rest of us get the trickle-down effect. (Like there really is one!)
They’re supposed to get these tax breaks to hire and train employees. Instead, buy up their own stocks to enrich themselves and stockholders.
So, unemployment steadily goes up with new technologies taking away jobs. Our standard of living goes down and wages stagnate.
Then there's inflation. We're told because of wage increases, lack of consumer demand, and supply train problems. Though, corporates meet or exceed their projected profits outlook and investors, usually they the corporation, receive fat dividend checks.
This, all on the backs of the consumer.
Then there's law enforcement and the court system.
Using and abusing the Civil Forfeiture Law.
Police have a shoot first ask questions later unspoken policy.
Try defending oneself verbally to a police office.
When you do there'll be free sleeping accommodations for you. While you wait to be heard in our overcrowded courts.
Now, when you try to defend yourself physically you're resisting. There may be sleeping accommodations or a spot at the local morgue awaits, depending on the hue of your skin. We, or at least I, was taught to trust the police. But how can one trust police when some come off with an attitude, 'I got all the power'.
More and more citizens are realizing the police and our courts cannot be trusted.
Our country is trying to stop fundamentalist religious extremist at home and aboard, terrorists.
These terrorists are resentful and jealous of our way of life. Threaten us not only with their sectarian doctrinal dogma untruths. But with suicide bombers, car bombers and with recruiting others to do their dirty business for them. They want to destroy our dream, our way of life! Along with other countries that fund these terrorists! These murderers have no perception for the sanctity of life. Let alone the rule of law, common sense, or reasoning. It’s their way or you die by highway.
At home legislators in red states change laws to suppress people's lives living in those states. They believe there is a Great Conspiracy coming from the left to change our way of life.
These legislators and other far right leaning people spread fear mongering lies to support their lies. The conservative religious right nuts what to impose their morality on us all. And get that help from the State. To these religious conservative zealots free will is evil!
Both these groups of people do not believe in the separation of church and state.
Remaking our country and personal freedoms into one religion, and one thought. Under the guise of Nationalism!
Strong leadership and the biggest military on the planet will not suffice.
We're now at a precipice in our country’s history. Now, more than ever we must stand together. This country needs an epiphany!
Let's wake up and smell reality people!

That’s all I have to say on these subjects.

The following are supposed to be important.
"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"
"and that government of the people, by the people, for the people".

Empty words along with empty pockets.

Sheilah Say
Sheilahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07590991565314531358noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-565614793119884285.post-74694270333972623752023-07-20T22:03:00.003-07:002023-07-20T22:03:34.917-07:00Dream #182
It started in Asia and what happened to a multitude of people.

In my dream I witnessed all the peoples of Asia being consumed by a great Asian military. This military was imprisoning, torturing, executing, and slaughtering the people in every village and city. The reason wasn’t clear for why it was done. It was just done. If they were part of a religious organization or protested they were summarily shot were they stood. It was the whole sale extermination of countries.

Though people in major European cities protested in the streets, not a finger was lifted to help the peoples of Asia.

Only meager protests of an impotent U.N. on the genocide being committed was all that could be heard in what was happening in Asia.

What of the United States. That country could not help with relief or its military. The country had been a one political party for many years and ruled by an autocratic ruler who institutionalized isolationism. This had been a must after the one-party rule over the country was solidified. There had been riots, protests, shootings and the crime rate shot up that something needed to be done. Thus, news medias were shut down, with the exception of what the state approved of. Mass imprisonments/executions, detention camps, which were nothing but reeducation places. The country was sliding into anarchy.

The African Union, with its 60-member nation states, did try to send medical and food relief. But it wasn’t known what happened to supplies, ships and personal that were sent. And the continent of Africa was not immune from what went on in the world. Having lost more than a third of its population.

In the continent down under, Australia, their military has taken control of countries far north as the Philippines, West Sumatra, Malaysia, and the whole island of Papua New Guinea. West, Australia has taken control of New Zealand, Solomon Islands and Howland/Baker Islands. Micronesia, North Mariana Island along with the Marshall Islands. Basically the whole of the South Pacific. They claim all this territory under the protection of the Australian government and will be known as Greater Australia.

The Middle East saw war declared on Israel by Syria and Iraq. (Egypt and Jordan have stayed neutral because of their peace agreements with Israel and is being resupplied by Great Britian and France.) Iran has full control over Lebanon and sworn to stay out of the war. Saudi Arabia is in the process of taking all countries south of Iraq on the Arabian peninsula.

There are cartel wars and rumors of war in Central and South America.

All this started when more than a third of all grasslands went up in flames. Followed by a reduction of The Great Domestic and Wildlife Die Off. Then a worldwide famine that seen three billion people die of starvation.

Everywhere people, who did not have means, suffered. Suffered from their government. Suffering from a lack of available food, medical needs and from the wars of the world. Black-markets and crime were prevalent anywhere there was suffering or a need.

Oceans of the world were trashed, literally. Slicks of oil float at the surface, derelict ships pushed by currents travel crash into one another, block shipping lanes and ports, get captured by one of the great gyres or beaches on a shoreline somewhere.

From Antarctic and Greenland ice sheet melting have added a three-meter rise in sea level. What new land was made from the melt armies fight to claim this new land.

The taking of Asia continues unabated. While in North America Mexico and Canada have taken sides to stop the slide of the United States into anarchy and stabilize the country. If this could be done it may go to stabilizing the world and stopping the takeover of Asia. But the U.S. would have none of it and prepared an act of war through Congress.

Looking to the sub-continent of India; a mass invasion is underway to liberate Tibet once and for all from Chinese communism. Great progress is made and only 22 kilometers from Tibet’s capital Lhasa the Chinese throw a one million volunteer army at the invaders. Stopping them and pushing them back to 30 kilometers from the Lhasa. The fighting is fierce; bodies are at knees depth and blood the depth of a horses bridle. The slaughter went on for weeks with neither side giving or getting a meter of land.

From all the carnage and carnage to come stood one that proclaimed an end to it all.

Should I continue?

Sheilahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07590991565314531358noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-565614793119884285.post-54060244559714060752023-06-22T19:15:00.001-07:002023-06-22T19:15:38.471-07:00One of These Days (Cover-Version Ten Years Again)Sheilahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07590991565314531358noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-565614793119884285.post-5974759562013019602023-06-22T19:14:00.000-07:002023-06-22T19:14:06.710-07:00Choo Choo MamaSheilahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07590991565314531358noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-565614793119884285.post-35132072980130051782023-06-22T19:12:00.001-07:002023-06-22T19:12:16.016-07:00Turned Off TV BluesSheilahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07590991565314531358noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-565614793119884285.post-86478477222669100752023-05-18T22:24:00.004-07:002023-05-18T22:24:34.136-07:00Occasionally a Difference
Malcolm Young, George Young and Harry Vanda, just before AC/DC in 1973 on this song "Silver Shoes & Strawberry Wine" by the Marcus Hook Roll Band

Malcolm Young - but not as many people ever have heard him. On this essentially 'live' Studio recording (1973), there was no over-dubbing for him. Malcolm laid it down 'live' with the rest of the track. A great vocal from Harry Vanda, together with this deft, understated piece of playing from Malcolm, and some great support from the other musicians results in a true 'gem'. This is a 20-year old playing with the maturity of a 40-year old. R.I.P. Malcolm... and so soon after brother George !

I'm very proud to be able to say - this is my production, and I have 'tweaked' the audio specially on this post - in fact I have effectively re-mastered it, and you won't find a better sounding version anywhere else ! I was there on the studio floor when this one went down, and being there was a real thrill.
