I Had An Epiphany

It was me in a tunnel.
There was no light.
Just stark black
ness.

In my mind I saw a light.
It was every where & nowhere.
It stretched out the blackness.

And broke it as a dry leaf,
Breaks between your fingers.
Flowing like a cool breeze.

Then I saw it, my epiphany.
I lay broke only hair moved.
Eyes wide open to a blue sky.

He picked me up and repaired,
The broken heart, soul & mind.
Which had been me for a time.

It was he, the one I had loved.
Come in through the darkness,
To keep, to hold and to love me.

We were one again as we were.
Once again I was happy again.

The loss love is the biggest loss in life. Suffering the loss of mind would be preferable.
