It's as if the universe has been turned topsy-turby. Mad scientist making sense, people, cats, dogs getting along and birds flying upside down.
Is the way I felt when leaving Urban Mo's 45 minutes later. Arriving at 5:45 pm and sitting at one of the tall tables. The waitress come over and I ordered a seven-up with a lime squeeze. She brought me my drink and I waited patiently.
Slowly sipping through a straw, for a date that was to not come.
Our dinner date was to meet there at 6 o'clock. Six o'clock came and sent. Me, sipping away watching the ball game and listening to the music. Patiently.
More time past and I checked the time. 6:15 pm. At some point the waitress came by and asked, "is everything alright?". Replying, "yes". I'm waiting on my date. She said, "okay, let me refill your soda".
Sipping at my soda occasionally. Waiting. Patiently. 6:19 pm now. Then 6:24 pm. Lastly checking the time once more. It was 6:28 pm.
Motioning the waitress over and paying the $2.75 for my drinks. I left Urban Mo's. Disappointed and some what upset. Besides having been stood up. I was also hungry.
All events and descriptions are true. Taking place on this past Monday afternoon. Ending at 6:30 pm Monday evening.
