America
An American Reproach
My country tis of thee,
Our land it’s of you,Sweet land of liberty,
This place of careless police brutality,Of thee I sing.
Oh this I say.Land where my father’s died!
Cities where innocent die!!Land of the Pilgrim's pride!
Cities where police are allowed to lie!!From every mountain side,
In each community,Let freedom ring!
The fallen did reside!!
My native country, thee,
A country in which stolen,Land of the noble free,
Becoming a sewer swollen,Thy name I love.
But thee I love.I love thy rocks and rills,
Look and see what has begun,Thy woods and templed hills;
Too lush forests and blue waters;My heart with rapture fillsAnd the rape is yet doneLike that above.
To sounds of rapid fired guns!!
Let music swell the breeze,
Let all requiem bells toll, And ring from all the trees
Let them ring throughout this landSweet freedom's song.
No longer is freedom song.Let mortal tongues awake;
No longer a new dawn comes;Let all that breathe partake;
Citizens unite and awake;Let rocks their silence break,
Because soon it will be too late,The sound prolong.
Get up and on your feet!!
Our father's God to, Thee,
Our new God is, thee,Author of liberty,
Thief of our liberty’s,To Thee we sing.
Robber of posterity and tranquility.
Long may our land be bright
Subversive of life’s pursuitsWith freedom's holy light;
Leeches of the Bill of Rights;Protect us by Thy might,
Your protection used with might!!Great God, our King!
Our God, our government is thee!!!
