1000

A thousand square miles of the Gulf of Mexico has been poisoned. And it’s within our* 200 mile limit!
How!
By dumping two million gallons of dispersant over the oil that floated to the surface.
Now the company which makes this dispersant. Has said it is a safe as “dish soap”. It works by breaking up the oil into ‘itty bitty’ particles. Which in turn break down to so many parts per billion. Some will swept away into the current. But the majority sinks to the bottom of the Gulf floor.
Now the worst part. All this dispersant laden oil particles. Gets ingested by the lowest in the food chain. Then climbs up the food chain to shell fish and other species in the Gulf.
In effect making eating seafood from the Gulf a risky guess at best. How will we know which is the tainted dispersant laden oil seafood. Or seafood fished from areas unaffected by the oil.
