It's late. I'm very distraught. My best friend hasn't been well these past two days. Early Thursday morning he calls an asks what side are your appendix on. "Right". Then he says he'll be over. Five pm that afternoon he calls again. His left side where the kidney is. It was stabbing painful. To the point it took some time. To get out of bed and dressed. Then he says he's going to drive himself there. Nothing I can do to help him.
So I've called all the local hospitals. He hasn't been at any of them.I call him. It goes straight to voice mail.
There's not going to be sleep for me tonight.
