Set aside differences, jealousy, intolerance,
And all of the hate.
Corruption, poverty, racism,
And strife.
Desperation, chaos negative ways,
And contempt.
Set aside bigotry, greed, gossip,
And wars.
Religion, color, creed,
And race.
Mean, unscrupulous, unethical,
And all the liars.
Set aside swindles, defrauders, murder,
And all the selfishness.
Genocide, politics, slander,
And someone else's morality.
Malevolent, hostility, contempt,
And all the evil.
We set aside these with all the rest,
Thoughts, actions, and deeds.
What have we left,
Indeed.
