I woke up this morning in good spirits. Made three slices of cinnamon toast and a cup of real coffee. That’s the stuff with caffeine in it. Sat down and opened up the new National Geographic.
Now I am so depressed, it’s taken me a little time to type this. Because thinking about what was read, brings on a powerful emotion too cry.
What was it I read which is making me depressed you may ask. The National Geographic December 2011 article, How We Can Save Wild Tigers.
I would quote the estimates but I just can’t go back into the article. Though I did do a search on the world tiger population. It averages out to 4,000 tigers left in the wild. India’s tiger population is up 16%.
Even with the Indian population. Still the 4,000 number is very low. Thus the title of my Blog. In My Life Time I may see my most favorite animal on the planet go extinct.
That’s it. This is all I am able to write on this subject.
