We are a republic but with a 'never do nothing Congress'. It seems to be more anarchy then republic.
This is the definition of a republic.

Republic: That form of government in which the powers of sovereignty are vested in the people and are exercised by the people, either directly, or through representatives chosen by the people, to whom those powers are specially delegated.

I have read much on the Benghazi fiasco. It is of keen interest to me because of the date it happened on. September 11, 2012. 911 isn’t the reason, though I have considerable interest in it as well. September 11 is the day my mother gave birth to me.

Here is what went down prior to September 11, 2012.

Democrats enacted $1.803 billion for embassy security, construction and maintenance for fiscal 2010, when they still controlled the Senate and House. After Republicans took control of the House and picked up six Senate seats, Congress reduced the enacted budget to $1.616 billion in fiscal 2011, and to $1.537 billion for 2012.

The administration requested $1.801 billion for security, construction and maintenance for fiscal 2012; House Republicans countered with a proposal to cut spending to $1.425 billion. The House agreed to increase it to $1.537 billion after negotiations with the Senate.

The administration requested $1.654 billion for the State Department’s Worldwide Security Protection program for fiscal 2012. House Republicans proposed funding the program at $1.557 billion. Congress eventually enacted $1.591 billion after the Senate weighed in.

And even after Benghazi for fiscal 2013, the administration requested $2.15 billion in funding for the worldwide security protection program, a larger increase from the previous year. The House countered with a proposal to increase the program to $1.934 billion.

So at every turn when there were requests to fund security, construction and maintenance for our embassy’s and consulates. A Republican Congress repeatedly changed what was needed to something lower.

I know there isn’t much difference in requests and what was given. And we all know when a government entity requests more money for a fiscal year it is almost always padded.

Okay. Even if it was padded. Don’t you think that perhaps some of our embassy’s and consulates could use the extra money? After all some are in countries that have hostilities going on. Or perhaps we should withdraw our embassy’s and consulates from these countries. In doing that we would have to have the country with hostilities with embassy’s and consulates here to do the same. (So guess what? They ain’t gonna do it and we cannot bully them out).

Now you can believe what you want too believe. Or you can be sheep, that goes for both sides of the fence. Following a singular biased news source. Than again you can dig, dig, dig, like I do, to find the real truth behind out right lies and half truths.

I’d like to conclude with two items; I believe in leading by example. Hillary Clinton told the Congressional committee, "I take responsibility for what happened in Benghazi". That I have yet to read on any, excuse the reference please, right wing site. In 1980 I was working with a gentleman from Guatemala. He asked me how he could better his English. My response: Only listen to American radio, television and read American newspapers. But don’t believe everything you hear, see and read. "Why" he asked. "Because not everything you hear, see and read in America radio, television and newspapers are true". Was my reply.

Because said Governor Pence it would extend legal protections to Indiana business owners who didn't want to participate in same-sex weddings, citing their religious beliefs. (A week later signed an amendment  religious freedom law. With one revision that sexual orientation and gender identity will be explicitly protected in the new law).

He described himself as Christian, conservative and Republican in that order.

Facts About Hillary Clinton’s Emails

Why did Clinton use her own email account?

When Clinton got to the Department, she opted to use her personal email account as a matter of convenience. It enabled her to reach people quickly and keep in regular touch with her family and friends more easily given her travel schedule.

That is the only reason she used her own account.

Her usage was widely known to the over 100 State Department and U.S. government colleagues she emailed, consistent with the practice of prior Secretaries of State and permitted at the time.

As Clinton has said, in hindsight, it would have been better to just have two accounts. While she thought using one account would be easier, obviously, that has not been the case.

Was it allowed?

Yes. The laws, regulations, and State Department policy in place during her tenure permitted her to use a non-government email for work.

Is Department of Justice conducting a criminal inquiry into Clinton’s email use?

No. As the Department of Justice and Inspectors General made clear, the IGs made a security referral. This was not criminal in nature as misreported by some in the press. The Department of Justice is now seeking assurances about the storage of materials related to Clinton’s email account.

Is it true that her email server and a thumb drive were recently turned over to the government? Why?

Again, when information is reviewed for public release, it is common for information previously unclassified to be upgraded to classified if the State Department or another agency believes its public release could cause potential harm to national security, law enforcement or diplomatic relations.

Would this issue not have arisen if she used a state.gov email address?

Even if Clinton's emails had been on a government email address and government device, these questions would be raised prior to public release.

Press reports say she used multiple devices – a Blackberry and an iPad – is that true?

Clinton relied on her Blackberry for emailing. This was easiest for her. When the iPad came out in 2010, she was as curious as others and found it great for shopping, browsing, and reading articles when she traveled. She also had access to her email account on her iPad and sometimes used it for that too.

Why did the Select Committee announce that she used multiple email addresses during her tenure?

In fairness to the Committee, this was an honest misunderstanding. Clinton used one email account during her tenure at State (with the exception of her initial weeks in office while transitioning from an email account she had previously used).

Did Clinton delete any emails while facing a subpoena?

No. As noted, the emails that Clinton chose not to keep were personal emails—they were not federal records or even work-related—and therefore were not subject to any preservation obligation under the Federal Records Act or any request. Nor would they have been subject to the subpoena—which did not exist at the time—that was issued by the Benghazi Select Committee some three months later.

Rep. Gowdy's subpoena issued in March 2015 did not seek, and had nothing to do with, her personal, non-work emails nor her server nor the request by State Department last year for her help in their own record-keeping. Indeed in his March 19th letter, Rep. Gowdy expressly stated he was not seeking any emails that were "purely personal in nature."

Did Clinton use this account to communicate with foreign officials?

During her time at State, she communicated with foreign officials in person, through correspondence, and by telephone. The review of all of her emails revealed only one email with a foreign (UK) official.

Did she withhold any work emails? What about the 15 emails that Sid Blumenthal provided to the Select Committee that she did not provide to the State Department?

She provided the State Department with all work and potentially work-related emails that she had, including all of her correspondence with Sid Blumenthal. We understand that Mr. Blumenthal had some emails that Clinton did not have, and Clinton had some emails that Mr. Blumenthal did not have, but it is important to note that none of those emails provide any new insights on the attack on our facilities in Benghazi.

Where was the server for her email located?

The server for her email was physically located on her property, which is protected by U.S. Secret Service.

What level of encryption was employed? Who was the service provider?

The security and integrity of her family's electronic communications was taken seriously from the onset when it was first set up for President Clinton's team. While the curiosity about the specifics of this set up is understandable, given what people with ill intentions can do with such information in this day and age, there are concerns about broadcasting specific technical details about past and current practices. Suffice it to say, robust protections were put in place and additional upgrades and techniques employed over time as they became available, including consulting and employing third party experts.

Was the server ever hacked?

No, there is no evidence there was ever a breach.

Was there ever an unauthorized intrusion into her email or did anyone else have access to it?

No.

What was done after her email was exposed in February 2013 after the hacker known as "Guccifer" hacked Sid Blumenthal’s account?

While this was not a breach of Clinton's account, because her email address was exposed, steps were taken at that time to ensure the security and integrity of her electronic communications, including changing her email address.

Was the State Department able to respond to requests related to FOIA or Congressional requests before they received printed copies of her work-related emails?

Yes. As the Select Committee has said, the State Department provided the Committee with relevant emails it already had on the state.gov system before the State Department requested any printed copies from former Secretaries, and four months before the State Department received the printed copies.

For example, in the well-publicized hack of Sid Blumenthal's email account, a note he sent Clinton on September 12, 2012, was posted online. At first blush, one might not think this exchange would be captured on the state.gov system. But in fact, Clinton forwarded the email, that very same day, onto the state.gov system. And the email was produced by the State Department to the Select Committee, and acknowledged by the Select Committee, in August 2014.

This example illustrates: 1) when an email from a non-".gov" sender had some connection to work or might add to the understanding of State Department officials, it was Clinton’s practice to forward it to officials at their "state.gov" address; and 2) the State Department was able to search and produce Clinton’s emails when needed long before, and unrelated to, receiving the printed copies as they were already captured on state.gov accounts.

Ted Cruz’s Presidential Bid

Ted Cruz is the Republican junior United States Senator from Texas. Who was the first to announce he was running for President.
Now I would like to know; 1. Why is Senator Cruz running for President of the United States. When the man was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on December 22, 1970.
Article 2 of the United States Constitution states plainly.
“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States”.
He can’t even run for Vice President.
The Twelfth Amendment states.
“But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States”.
And 2; Why haven’t any news agency picked up on this fact?
If Ted Cruz was in another political party. The Republicans would have slammed him by now.

A transsexual Michelle Obama?

Michelle Obama is a transsexual?

I've had this post in draft for MONTHS. I've hesitated to publish this because of the gravity of what is being asserted, and the uncertainty of the evidence to support the assertion.
The startling assertion is that the current First Lady of the United States of America, known as Michelle Robinson Obama, is a biological male posing as a woman.
That anyone would make such an assertion is a mark of how much distrust and suspicion the Obamas have engendered, due entirely to Barack’s secretiveness concerning his Selective Service registration, school records (including even his kindergarten record!), and medical records; his refusal to explain why his Social Security number has a Connecticut prefix; and his outright deception about his birth certificate, an image of which he made public on April 27, 2011, but which forensic experts have determined to be a fake. It doesn’t help that the Hawaiian official, Loretta Fuddy, who had signed off on Obama’s purported birth certificate was the only passenger who recently died in a small plane crash.
Startlingly, even the Obamacare sign-up website healthcare.gov cannot verify Barack Obama’s identity! (See also "Investor’s Business Daily editorial asks if Obama’s entire life is a fiction.")

So I decided to just present what I've found and leave the reader to draw his/her own conclusions as to whether Mooch is a transsexual.
Obama calls his wife "Michael"

In a speech on September 30, 2011, at the transition or change-of-office ceremony of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at Fort Myer, Virginia, Obama referred to his wife not as Michelle but as Michael.
As you can verify for yourself in the video below, Obama clearly said: "Distinguished guests, men and women of the finest military in the world, most of all, Admiral Mullen, Deborah, Michael and I also want to acknowledge your son Jack who was deployed today, all of you have performed extraordinary service to our country…."

Note: Deborah is Admiral Mullen’s wife.

Bafflingly, even the text of the speech on WhiteHouse.gov says the same thing:
"Secretary Panetta, thank you for your introduction and for your extraordinary leadership. Members of Congress, Vice President Biden, members of the Joint Chiefs, service secretaries, distinguished guests, and men and women of the finest military in the world. Most of all, Admiral Mullen, Deborah, Michael and I also want to also acknowledge your son Jack, who’s deployed today. All of you have performed extraordinary service to our country."
Admiral Mullen’s first name is Michael. However, throughout his speech, Obama referred to Mullen as "Mike", not Michael.

Michelle’s birth name was Michael?

Even before Obama’s gaffe, there were bloggers who said Michelle’s real (birth) name is Michael.
As an example, three months before Obama publicly referred to his wife as “Michael,” blogger Matthew B. Glosser wrote on June 30, 2011 that he was contacted by “an anonymous source” who claimed to be a former White House staff member of the Obama administration, specifically “a former member of the First Lady’s personal staff.” The source claimed to have sensitive information regarding a stunning revelation about Michelle Obama and wanted to arrange a meeting with Glosser in person to present the evidence for this claim.
Though initially skeptical, Glosser nevertheless met with the “anonymous source” on June 25, 2011. The source said “the major alphabet networks … are in the tank for Obama and it is network policy to cover up any critical stories regarding the President and his family. The White House has officially created a State media.” Then the source said the following about Michelle Obama:
Michelle Obama, First Lady of the United States, was born Michael LaVaughn Robinson in Chicago, Illinois on January 17th, 1964. He was the second son born to Fraser Robinson III, a well known cocaine dealer and union thug for Crime Lord/Mayor Richard J. Daley, and Marian Shields Robinson, a transient street prostitute who was diagnosed with the HIV virus in 1998. He [Michael] was a popular high school athlete and in 1982, he accepted a scholarship to play middle linebacker for the Oregon State Beavers.
fter finishing a respectable rookie season with 88 tackles and 7.5 sacks, he suddenly dropped out of the school. Fellow teammates observed that Robinson could regularly be heard lamenting over how he is a “woman trapped inside a man’s body”, and on January 13th, 1983, he underwent sex reassignment surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. To hide the shame of his new identity, Michael left Oregon State to attend Princeton University under his new legal name, “Michelle Robinson”. Years later, he met Barry Obama Jr. a Kenyan immigrant who later became aware of “Michelle’s” true identity. They subsequently married and adopted two children.
Writing for Examiner.com, Jan. 11, 2014, Dean Chambers says: “I have been unable to find any proof that a Michael LaVaughn Robinson even existed, and there is reasonable proof that Michelle LaVaughn Robinson (later Obama after marriage) has existed. Furthermore, there is no proof of a Michael Robinson playing linebacker for the Oregon State Beavers in 1981 or 1982.”

The most recent claim that Michelle is a man is this fascinating video that systematically argues that physical traits, including her fingers, shoulders, neck muscles, head-to-body ratio and trace of an Adam’s apple, all point to her being a biological male.
If this is true, it certainly would explain why we’ve seen no pictures of a pregnant Michelle, nor has anyone found birth records of “her” two daughters.

A Note On the Letter to President Rowhani

President Obama’s letter to recently elected President Hasan Rowhani of Iran is a step in the right direction.

Since the Iran revolution and the seizure of the American Embassy in 1979. The U.S. froze $12 billion in Iranian assets. (Gave some $10 billion back for release of U.S. personnel. Held by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard). Restrictions on commercial ventures. With sanctions on food purchases, spare parts, medical products and the purchasing by Americans of carpet and food, pistachios. Total economic sanctions starting in 1995 by President Clinton. Then a bill by Congress (Iran/Libya Sanctions) in 1996. To make all this worse. Each time the U.S. and Iran would try to sit down and open discussion or negotiate. The U.S. always tagged condition on any talks.

Perhaps now there will be a thawing of relations between the U.S. and Iran.

I for one would welcome such a change in our foreign policy. Iran has much to offer besides carpets and pistachios.

Now if the U.S. can only get over Cuba.
